Student Consulting Project

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience what it’s like to be a consultant. Your challenge is to collaborate in a team of four to six students to advise and support a company in solving a real-life problem. Working closely with both company representatives and HHL faculty, you will learn first-hand what it means to initiate real change.

Disruptive Technologies & Business Models

Technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and robotics are disrupting entire industries – while simultaneously opening up new entrepreneurial possibilities. This course provides a solid overview of the most significant disruptive technologies and examines the business models emerging from them. Case studies and industry examples illustrate how organizations can strategically navigate and shape technological change.

Online Marketing & Customer Analytics

Digital marketing is inherently data-driven – and truly mastering it requires analytical competence. The tuition fees for the complete program amount to EUR 38,500. We offer a tuition fee reduction if you submit your complete application by the following Early Bird deadlines*:

• Early Bird 1: November 30 – Discount: EUR 4,500 
• Early Bird 2: January 31 – Discount: EUR 3,000
• Early Bird 3: March 31 – Discount: EUR 1,500

This covers all tuition and examination costs and includes the tuition fees for the term abroad at one of our partner universities. And, of course, the fees do not have to be paid in one lump sum. You will pay your tuition fees in four instalments – spread out over two years. For further information, see our payment terms. Scholarships Overview 

Pay your tuition fees in installments!

After having been admitted to HHL, you are required to pay a down payment of EUR 3,000. The remaining fees will be paid as follows: The first and second installments are payable on October 1 and March 1 of the first study year. The third and fourth installments are payable on September 1 and March 1 of the second study year.

The Full-time Master in Management at HHL is a 21–24 month, English-language program based in Leipzig, awarding an M.Sc. with 120 ECTS. The program is designed to build leadership, strategic management, and entrepreneurial skills, and welcomes a new cohort every September.

Yes. The Master in Management (M.Sc.) is designed for candidates with a business-related academic background, such as management, economics, finance, accounting, marketing, or related business disciplines.

Yes. Applicants are required to submit a valid GMAT, GRE, or HHL Entry Test score as part of the admission process. However, you may start your application by submitting the mandatory documents first and provide the test score later within the application timeline.

Yes. Applicants must have at least 3 months of relevant practical experience, such as internships, working student positions, or full-time employment. Supporting documentation can be submitted after the initial application.

The program moves through five stages: Welcome Weeks, Essentials (core business fundamentals), Elective Essentials (four chosen modules), Business Competencies (consulting project, internships, and term abroad), and General Management Deep Dives. Students select two of four Deep-Dive specializations: Strategic Management, Financial Decision Making, Transformation Management, or Digital Entrepreneurship.

Applicants need a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field and at least three months of work experience. Beyond grades and HHL Entry Test results, HHL places equal weight on personality, motivation, and ambition. All shortlisted candidates participate in a selection interview, which is a key part of the admissions process. The tuition for the Full-time Master in Management is EUR 38,500, paid in four installments over two years, covering all tuition, exams, and the term abroad. Graduates of the Full-time Master in Management earn an average starting salary of EUR 81,500, rising to approximately EUR 115,000 three years after graduation, according to HHL’s FT MiM Employment Report 2025. In the Financial Times Masters in Management Ranking 2025, HHL ranks #3 in Europe for graduate salaries.

Students complete a term abroad at one of HHL’s 140 global partner universities, with tuition for that term fully included in the program fee. A double degree option is also available with select partner universities across more than 20 countries.

Applications are submitted via the HHL application portal. Mandatory documents include: CV, Letter of Motivation, high-school diploma, Bachelor’s transcript, and a passport photo. Further documents (proof of work experience, degree certificate, proof of English proficiency, GMAT/GRE/HHL Entry Test score) can be submitted later in the process.

HHL’s Career Development Team, ranked #5 worldwide in the Financial Times Masters in Management Ranking 2025, provides one-to-one coaching, CV reviews, case study training, and access to on-campus recruiting events. According to the Employment Report 2025, 50% of Full-time MiM graduates begin their careers in consulting.

HHL also maintains a dedicated AI initiative connecting leadership, research, and entrepreneurship across all programs.
