This accessibility statement applies to the website published at hhl.de as well as to the application portal published at apply.hhl.de of HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management.

The website of HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management provides information about the organization, its offerings, and enables direct contact.

Implementation of Accessibility Requirements

The assessment is based on a self-evaluation using the accessibility tool provided by AccessGO. Based on this review, the website is partially compliant with the aforementioned requirements. In detail, the following aspects are not fully compliant with the applicable accessibility regulations:

Identified issues of the website published at hhl.de

  • Missing references in ARIA attributes
  • Missing labels assigned to form fields
  • Non-unique landmarks
  • The structure of data tables is partially not accessible

Identified issues of the application portal published at apply.hhl.de:

 

  • Text sizes cannot be adjusted by users
  • The application portal is available in English only and does not offer content in plain or easy language
  • Full keyboard operability is not ensured, which particularly affects users with motor impairments or visual impairments

Planned Handling of the Identified Barriers

Due to organizational and economic constraints, our website and application portal are currently not yet fully accessible. We are continuously working to improve accessibility.

Note on PDF Files

Some PDF documents provided on the website (e.g., study regulations, chair reports, employment reports) are currently not fully accessible. These files may contain structural and technical limitations, including missing heading structures, undefined reading orders, missing alternative text for graphical content, or untagged tables. As a result, they are only partially usable with assistive technologies.

At present, due to organizational and economic reasons, it is not possible for us to make all existing PDF documents fully accessible. However, we strive to publish new documents in an accessible format wherever possible.

If you require a specific document in an accessible format, please contact us. We will gladly provide an individually accessible version where possible.

Addition to the Accessibility Statement

Our website uses the accessibility plugin AccessGO (www.accessgo.de), provided by DGfB Deutsche Gesellschaft für Barrierefreiheit mbH. This allows users to adapt our website to their individual limitations or preferences. The settings can be accessed via the AccessGO icon or alternatively via the keyboard shortcut “ALT + 1”. All functions can also be controlled using the keyboard.

Among other things, the following aspects can be adjusted:

  • Font size
  • Contrast
  • Highlighting of links
  • Activation of a screen reader
  • Use of profiles to activate multiple settings simultaneously

The accessibility plugin AccessGO is currently only available for our website, but not for our application portal (apply.hhl.de).
