HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management reacts to current developments in society and economy. The virtual HHL Expert Talk series addresses latest and key topics in its research and academic programs to a broad audience. The HHL Expert Talk offers an open and further education and know-how transfer to the whole HHL community and beyond. This also applies to the ongoing corona crisis. Professor Zülch will provide his insights on the status quo of the German Bundesliga after the finish of the 2020/21 corona-plagued season and discusses the current developments, their impact and necessary changes for a sustainable future for the league and its clubs.
About our expert
Prof. Dr. Henning Zülch studied economics at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität from 1993 to 1998. After an initial assignment with Ernst & Young he took over the position of Junior Professor for Corporate Reporting, in particular International Accounting, at the Clausthal University of Technology in 2002. Since September 2006, he has held the Chair of Accounting, Auditing and Controlling at the HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management. One of his core research areas is focusing the management of success factors in professional football. In addition to his work at the HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management, Professor Zülch is a member of numerous national and international expert committees in the field of accounting and auditing. hhl.de/zuelch
