HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management is a university-level institution and ranks amongst the leading international Business schools worldwide. Research:
As a research-oriented university-level business school, HHL seeks scholars that share its focus on excellent, managerially relevant, and internationally recognized research. The candidate has a track record of high-quality research in leading international marketing journals and aims to further develop this research profile. Candidates should also have experience in promoting young scientists.Teaching:
HHL has a reputation for outstanding teaching and has a very international student body at a graduate level. The candidate should show strong evidence of teaching excellence in the field of marketing management. Teaching approaches should combine multiple methods for face-to-face, digital and hybrid teaching, and follow a research-induced teaching style. As HHL teaches exclusively in English, fluency in English is required. Experience in teaching in an international business school context and non-academic work experience are assets.Transfer:
HHL aims to matter not only in the scientific community but to companies and society at large. The candidate has a track record in knowledge transfer activities (e.g., third-party funded projects, managerial publications, company cooperations, media coverage). Applicants should have passed a positive evaluation either as junior/assistant professor via “Habilitation” or equivalent qualifications, a proof of suitability for university teaching (Master & Doctoral level) and engage in international academic networks. HHL has set a priority of increasing the number of international scholars among its faculty. It actively pursues a policy of diversity and gender equality.
