HHL was the first private business school in the German-speaking region to be accredited by AACSB International (AACSB) in 2004. AACSB is a global nonprofit association, connecting educators, students, and business to achieve a common goal: to create the next generation of great leaders. The mission of AACSB International is to foster engagement, accelerate innovation, and amplify impact in business education. In line with HHL’s mission statement and commitment to continuous improvement we have been successfully reaccredited in 2009, 2014 and 2019 under the new standards.

The Financial Times ranking of European business schools assesses the combined performance of Europe’s leading schools out of four FT rankings: Full-time MBA, Executive MBA, Master in Management and non-degree Executive Education programs. HHL reached position 60 in Europe and is ranked among the top 5 business schools in Germany.

    CHE (Centre for Higher Education Development) Ranking 2020

    In the nationwide (Germany) CHE University Ranking HHL is ranked by its Master students with outstanding results among the following categories:

      HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management received continued recognition as a one of the best places for aspiring entrepreneurs in Germany. Occupying the top spot for the previous rankings in 2012, 2013, 2016, 2018 and 2020, HHL maintained its first-rate rank among the small universities in the Startup Radar ranking published by Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft (Founder’s Association for German Science), which encompasses all German business schools and universities with up to 5,000 students.

        Master in Management Program Rankings

        Financial Times Global Masters in Management Ranking 2022

        The Financial Times ranked HHL’s full-time M.Sc. Program No. 19 worldwide as well as #3 for graduates’ salaries worldwide (#1 in Germany, #2 in Europe) and #11 for career service. The employment rate three months after graduation is 100 percent. (Financial Times Global Masters in Management Ranking 2022)

          QS Masters in Management Ranking 2022

          In the QS Masters in Management Ranking 2022, HHL scored 97.1 out of 100 in the category „Value for Money“, ranking 8th in the world. Our graduates are able to repay their investment in less than two years and the 10-year average return on investment is USD 757,624. Additionally, HHL Master in Management graduates enter the job market very rapidly – the employment rate score (students employed 3 months after graduation) is 90%, which is significantly higher than the average. An investment that pays off!

            The Economist Masters in Management Ranking 2019

            Economist-Ranking: Master of HHL scores with starting salary of graduates and program quality

            In the global Master in Management Ranking 2019 of the Economist, HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management stands out with the second highest starting salary of its graduates worldwide (77,236 $).  HHL also received top rankings in the categories “Range of and access to overseas study programs” (#1), “Program content” (#2), “Facilities and other services” (#4) and “Alumni network” (#5), evaluated by HHL students and alumni.

            The Economist Masters in Management Ranking, in which HHL ranks 14th worldwide, comprises 40 international business schools. In Germany, HHL ranks among the top 3. The results of the survey of university graduates and students as well as the university’s own data are included in the evaluation. Assessment criteria include career opportunities, personality development/learning experience, salary post MiM and network potential.

             

              Times Higher Education / Wall Street Journal Ranking 2019

              The full-time M.Sc. study program of HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management is #1 in Europe and Germany, and #2 globally, according to “THE Ranking”.

              HHL took part in this advanced and special ranking of Times Higher Education (THE) and Wall Street Journal (WSJ) which scored four essential dimensions of Master in Management programs with extended criteria during an evaluation period of more than one year. HHL’s leading position is primarily based on factors like salary difference, social good or entrepreneurship, and the factor engagement regarding e.g. real-world relevance or interaction between teachers and students. Also, the university environment counted by internationality and diversity. THE and WSJ surveyed the alumni of 2012, 2013 and 2015 in addition to direct information and figures from the faculties.

                QS GLOBAL MBA RANKING 2022

                In the QS Global MBA Ranking 2022 HHL stands out with its exceptional ROI. Scoring 94.6 out of 100, the HHL MBA program ranks number 21 worldwide for this indicator. Our graduates are able to repay their investment in just 3 years and the 10-year average return on investment is USD 433,065 – bringing the HHL score on this indicator to 100 out of 100. The ranking confirms that this is the MBA that pays off!

                  AméricaEconomía MBA Ranking 2022

                  HHL has once again successfully demonstrated its position among the top MBA programs. In its most prestigious ranking in Latin-America, the business magazine América Economía ranked HHL’s MBA Program #39 worldwide, highlighting HHL’s special strong suits in innovation and diversity.
                  The HHL MBA program excels in the category ‘innovation’, scoring 94.4 out of a possible 100 points. This puts the business school in 13th place worldwide and 2nd place in Germany. The full-time MBA program also has a high proportion of female students and is among the top 10 in this category worldwide with 46% percent women.

                    The Economist Full-time MBA Ranking 2022

                    The business magazine The Economist rates HHL’s full-time MBA program with top marks in its current best list. According to the magazine the MBA is ranked #4 in Germany, #23 in Europe and #84 worldwide.
                    HHL is rated with particularly good scores at #2 in Germany in the category “career service”. Europe-wide, the career development team is among the top 10 – with a ranking of #8. Worldwide, they are represented in the top 50 (#47).
                    In the category that captures the further career path of students, HHL also comes in at the top. MBA graduates have top chances of receiving a job offer just three months after graduation. For this, HHL also ranks #2 in Germany.
                    Furthermore, HHL excels in salary growth: It is ranked in the top 3 in Germany, #11 in Europe and also in the top 50 worldwide (#48).
