e-fellows Masters Scholarship

The master programs at HHL are an important step for your future career and personal development. To support new talents in management, we are happy to announce our e-fellows Masters Scholarship in cooperation with e-fellows.net.
The scholarship is open to everyone who participated in an e-fellows Master Day as well as to all students and alumni of e-fellows.net.

1. Scholarship Amount

HHL will award 4 e-fellows Masters Scholarships in the amount of EUR 5,000 each per year.

    2. Scholarship Application Process

    • Scholarships are rewarded on a rolling basis. An early application increases the chances to receive financial support.
    • We only accept scholarship applications from candidates who have submitted a complete program application.
    • Final application deadline: April 30
    • Either you submit your scholarship application on our application portal or you email it to your Student Affairs Manager (contact see above).
    • The selection committee evaluates your application. Please note: A decision can only be made once you have submitted the GMAT / GRE / Entry Test score.

      Eligibility

      • The scholarship is open to applicants who participated in an e-fellows Master Day as well as to all students and alumni of e-fellows.net.

      • outstanding academic performance in your Bachelor’s degree
      • GMAT (min. 650 | 595) / GRE / HHL Entry Test score (min. 14 points)
      • excellent application interview with an HHL professor
      • one-page essay answering one of the two provided essay questions (see section Scholarship Task)

          GdF Scholarship for Women in Business

          With the GdF Scholarship for Women in Business the association would like to support excellent female candidates of all national backgrounds who present strong motivation and outstanding professional and academic credentials and who are willing to become active members of the HHL community. The scholarships will also support HHL’s goal of achieving a truly heterogeneous class.

          1. Scholarship Amount

          Successful candidates will receive a tuition reduction of up to EUR 7,500.

            2. Scholarship Application Process

            • Application deadline: June 30
            • We only accept scholarship applications from candidates who have submitted a complete program application.
            • Either you submit your scholarship application on our application portal or you email it to your Student Affairs Manager (contact see above).
            • After the application deadline, the admission committees will do a preselection of eligible candidates. Chosen candidates will receive an invitation to a virtual selection interview with representative of the GdF Executive Board.
            • Once all interviews have taken place, the final decision will be communicated to the candidates.
            • Please note: A decision can only be made once you have submitted the GMAT / GRE / Entry Test score.

                    “Friends of HHL” is an association that unites HHL shareholders and serves as a hub for HHL entrepreneurs to stay in touch with HHL and the ecosystem around it. Their goal is to support HHL and its circle of founders in order to strengthen the network of entrepreneurs.

                      HHL Dean’s List Scholarship / HHL Dean’s List Scholarship supported by the HHL Alumni Association

                      The HHL Dean’s List scholarship aims to reward the most outstanding students of the HHL community each year. The top candidates admitted to our programs will be personally selected by HHL´s Dean to join the exclusive Dean’s List circle.

                      Additionally, the HHL Alumni Association funds one Deans List Scholarship per year and thus contributes significantly to the promotion of excellence at HHL.

                      Our HHL Dean’s List candidates are highly talented students and HHL ambassadors. We are proud to offer this scholarship to outstanding individuals and networking enthusiasts.

                      1. Scholarship Amount and Benefits

                      The fortunate members of the Dean’s List receive a partial scholarship that covers half of the tuition fees for the chosen program. Along with the scholarship offer, recipients receive an official scholarship certificate together with an invitation for a personal first meeting with Prof. Dr. Tobias Dauth during our annual welcome weeks at HHL. Additionally, recipients will be invited to a yearly dinner with HHL´s Dean. This is a unique opportunity to network and exchange ideas about the world of tomorrow.

                      Holder of the Deans List Scholarship supported by the Alumni Association e.V. will also become part of our unique alumni community before graduation, acting as a link between HHL’s student body and the HHL Alumni Association. With this you will gain access to a wide range of professional opportunities and connections that will enhance your career prospects.

                              Receiving the Dean’s List Scholarship has been a great honour during my studies.                               HHL Future Entrepreneur Scholarship

                              The Future Entrepreneur Scholarship Program focuses on prospective Master students who bring their entrepreneurial potential to HHL and who seek to start their own business after graduating from HHL or who have already started it. During their time at HHL the successful applicants will have the opportunity to introduce their business concept in at least one of HHL’s curricular and extra-curricular programs.

                                      With its Women in Business Scholarship, HHL seeks to support excellent female candidates of all academic and national backgrounds who present with a strong motivation and outstanding professional and academic credentials and who are willing to become active members of the HHL community.

                                      1. Scholarship Amount and Benefits

                                      • up to EUR 10,000 reduction of your tuition fees
                                      • a personal mentor from the HHL alumni network including – but not limited to – inspiring female founders, C-Level executives, and leaders from various industries
                                      • a student buddy from an older class who has also been a scholarship recipient
                                      • access to workshops, events organized by Women@HHL or the Female Founders Initiative

                                                              VNG, headquartered in Leipzig, is a strong group of companies active in the gas and gas infrastructure sector with about 20 subsidiaries in Germany and Europe. For more than 15 years, VNG has been promoting scientific exchange between universities, colleges and research institutions with the private sector and civil society in eastern Germany through the VNG Foundation. In 2024, VNG established the Central German Foundation for Science and Education to further expand this cooperation.
