"When I made the decision for HHL one very important aspect was the possibility to go abroad once more. During my Bachelor I already spent a semester in Peru and one year in South Africa, so the wanderlust had infected me and I love to experience and interact in different cultures. I am very grateful that integrating my exchange semester in Hawaii was fairly easy: My employer E.ON supported me all along the process, in particular by giving me the opportunity of doing a Sabbatical for the 4,5 months in Hawaii. During my semester at HPU I focused on Renewable Energies in Hawaii and Environmental Governance and even wrote my master thesis with a focus on Green Mobility on Hawaii with a very practical project in cooperation with a start-up from Hamburg."
