Study Locations

It is your choice - where do you want to study?

You can choose whether you want to study the program in Leipzig or in Cologne. Your weekend courses take place at the chosen study location whereas the two complementary residential weeks always take place at HHL's main campus in Leipzig. For the weekend courses in Cologne HHL uses the infrastructure (including study rooms, library and cafeteria) of the Hochschule Fresenius.

Study location Cologne

Besides the regular Spring intake in Leipzig we also offer the parallel Spring intake in Cologne. For the Spring intake Cologne all 17 weekend courses will be held in Cologne, the 2 residential weeks in spring of the first and second study year will take place at HHL in Leipzig, whereas the international study week is scheduled in Boston.

Students have the possibility to choose whether they want to study the program in Cologne or in Leipzig. With this flexibility we will make our programs more attractive for students from all parts of Germany, who want to earn an HHL MBA degree while working.

The new study location Cologne allows candidates from regions in the western part of Germany, on the one hand, to build up a network with their fellow students, who study at the campus in Leipzig, and on the other hand, to benefit from reduced travelling time.

Experiences

"Studying while working full-time is quite a challenge, so the program should be selected wisely. I chose the part-time MBA at HHL because of the frequent lectures, the family style atmosphere, and the excellent networking opportunities. My exchange to IE Business School in Madrid completed my MBA and offered me the opportunity to join one of the most popular and international MBA programs in Europe and to study amongst young entrepreneurs from all-around the world. This flexibility is essential to a good part-time program!"

Experiences

"After several years gaining professional experience in different branches, I was seeking a new challenge where I can also develop my personal skills. I am fascinated to be a member of an international class of ambitious individuals with a variety of backgrounds and experience. I personally believe that this is one of the biggest advantages of the program offered by HHL. To build up a network with an international focus also helps to improve intercultural competencies. Both the school and the program fit in with the things I have done in my professional career, but even more with the things I would like to do in the future. The part-time MBA-Program at HHL allows me to directly apply newly-gained insights in my daily work"

Dr. Susanne Goldammer, MBA alumna 2012, Head of B&T Operations Russia Linde AG

Experiences

"The part-time MBA at HHL combines high-caliber international and professional business education with a strong entrepreneurial spirit. In my endeavor to grow and develop my small organization, I profit greatly from this approach. In particular, I value the integrated curriculum and the familiar atmosphere of the program. I am especially grateful for the financial support I receive from Sächsische Aufbaubank and Deutschlandstipendium, without which I would not be able to manage being a mother, a part-time student, and a full-time entrepreneur simultaneously. Nurtured by such positive circumstances, I intend to use my HHL experience to create an innovative organization with the goal of improving social justice and sharing the compassion and support I have received here."

Victoria Dressel, part-time MBA alumna, Art Director, Artroom Leipzig
