Get insights from HHL’s student initiative “Venture Capital Club” about everything around Venture Capital

HHL’s Assistant Professor Dr. Maximilian Schreiter welcomes Dr. Arnd Lodowicks, Vice President Finance and Valuation at Rocket Internet, and Dr. Julian Kaboth, Senior Manager Finance & Business Intelligence at solytic, to discuss recent developments of start-up values, potential valuation approaches and why publicly announced post money valuations usually overestimate a start-up’s fair value. In particular the latter finding has severe implications for the venture capital industry and founders when it comes to making investments and creating smart incentive structures.
