Societies worldwide are confronted with profound social, environmental, and economic challenges. Addressing them requires new forms of entrepreneurship and leadership. Sustainable entrepreneurs respond to these challenges through innovative solutions, responsible business models, and new impact ventures. Their actions rest on an expanded understanding of value creation—one that measures success not only in financial terms but also in lasting societal impact. They build financially viable organizations that actively contribute to a just, resilient, and sustainable future.
Education plays a central role in enabling this transformation. Today’s students will shape tomorrow’s economies as founders, managers, and decision-makers. At our Chair of Sustainability, Entrepreneurship, and Technology, we integrate the principles of the triple bottom line—economic prosperity (profit), environmental stewardship (planet), and social well-being (people)—into all aspects of our teaching and research.
Our mission is to equip students with the knowledge, tools, and mindset necessary to design and lead ventures that create sustainable value. We empower them to understand complex societal problems, develop responsible solutions, and manage organizations that contribute positively to society and the environment. In doing so, we aim to foster the next generation of leaders who drive sustainable transformation through sustainable, entrepreneurial, and technological thinking.
