HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management is a university-level institution and ranks amongst the leading international Business schools worldwide. The candidate is expected to have a holistic view on how disruptive technologies challenge our society and businesses and a clear view on the kind of transformation that embeds digital strategy considerations into all business products and processes while maintaining the pace of innovation. This includes cybersecurity issues (risk assessment, digital resilience, digital trust and transparency, crisis response, development of digital capabilities) but also issues of digital strategy (utilizing data, facilitating informed strategic decisions, optimizing business performance). The successful candidate is expected to take over a leading role in shaping the interdisciplinary technology cluster.

Applicants should have passed a positive evaluation either as junior/assistant professor via “Habilitation” or equivalent qualifications, a proof of suitability for university teaching (Master & Doctoral level) and engage in international academic networks. HHL has set a priority of increasing the number of international scholars among its faculty. It actively pursues a policy of diversity and gender equality.

The application should include a motivation letter, CV, a teaching statement including evidence of teaching effectiveness (e.g., student evaluations or teaching awards), a research statement including a list of publications, an overview of knowledge transfer activities, and references.
