Finance Meets Entrepreneurship: How Venture Capital firms connect the dots of idea validation, team evaluation and business model judgement when investing into start-ups.
Powered by Earlybird Ventures
You want to learn more about the thrilling world of Venture Capital (VC)? You are curious how VC firms navigate through all the uncertainty around the often disruptive business ideas pitched to them by start-ups? How they make investment decisions and how well that pays off in the long-term? If you are a current bachelor student or a recent graduate in Business or Economics, then this is your call to apply for the third stop of our HHL Finance Case Challenge Series, “Finance Meets Entrepreneurship” powered by Earlybird Ventures where we put you in the shoes of VC investment professionals.
Our corporate partner Earlybird Ventures invites you to their Munich office where you will find yourself in the middle of preparing an investment committee evaluating different pitches of start-up that need fresh financing. Your team will be mentored and challenged by experts from Earlybird Ventures while analyzing the pitch decks of start-ups, weighing a convincing investment strategy and preparing your proposal for Earlybird’s investment committee. After your proposal discussion with our jury, we will come together for dinner and drinks to conclude the event.
In preparation of the Finance Meets Entrepreneurship Case Challenge, HHL’s faculty is going to provide an on-demand mini-lecture to introduce you to the topic and equip you with useful tools to master the challenge.
Thursday, March 14, 2024*, 10.00 am – 8.00 pm (CET)
