top FT Ranking: Excellent Career Prospects for HHL Graduates
Achieving 2nd place in Germany and 4th place in Europe for its graduates' salaries, HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management has once again reached a high position in the world's leading "Masters in Management" ranking by the Financial Times (FT). The first business school in Germany founded 1898 world also scored for its outstanding career service. HHL's alumni voted their alma mater into 5th place globally in this category of the international ranking. The FT confirms once again that the private Leipzig-based business school HHL is one of the leading universities worldwide with an overall rank of 33rd place.
Professional success thanks to an M.Sc. degree from HHL
At the enrolement ceremony on Monday, September 10, 2018, HHL Dean Professor Stephan Stubner also welcomed the new M.Sc. class (MSc19) of 45 students. At the same time, 60 new students started the part-time M.Sc. program and another 119 enrolled in other Master's programs or as doctoral candidates at various chairs. Stephan Stubner sees the success of the M.Sc. confirmed. He comments, "To achieve this excellent position in the ranking and the outstanding number of participants, we continuously develop instruction and student support in a joint effort and have been trailblazers in manager training with the M.Sc. program from the get-go. HHL offers the substantial mix of knowledge, skill, practical relation and international experience which will be crucial for tomorrow's executives and entrepreneurs."
Currently, 277 students are pursuing the M.Sc. as a Master in Management degree, among them 48 international program participants. Overall, 753 students from 65 nations are currently enrolled at HHL.
Master in Management at HHL
The Master in Management Program (M.Sc.) provides a foundation for future management tasks and covers a wide variety of economic topics. Building on a Bachelor's degree in economics, HHL attaches particular importance to teaching soft skills. Courses such as Problem Solving & Communication, Negotiation or International Management Competencies represent an inherent part of the training. In addition to a term abroad at one of over 130 universities partnered with HHL, the curriculum of the program also encompasses an internship. The program offers a full-time as well as part-time option.
