Research at the Chair of Applied Economic Theory

The framework for research within the department is based around the general theory of equilibrium, especially having regard to environmental economics and the theory of public goods.  Mechanisms for decision-making in large organizations, such as the European Union, also play a part, as too does application-oriented research in the field of health economics at the Center for Healthcare Management (ZHM).  For a list of completed and ongoing research projects and of events that have taken place, click here.

In the context of the main focal areas of the research as described above, the members of the department publish their work in various media and oversee and/or appraise various research projects (e.g. doctorates, degree theses).  We have compiled a list of these, which can be found here.
