HHL once again among the top 3 business schools in Germany

HHL ranked 2nd in career magazine karriere

HHL - Leipzig Graduate School of Management was once again voted one of the top three business schools in Germany. In the current ranking by the Handelsblatt group´s career magazine karriere, HHL tied for second place with the University of Witten/Herdecke behind the European Business School (EBS) Oestrich-Winkel.

The ranking confirms the HHL provides a first-class education for young business leaders. Since its refounding in 1992, HHL has consistently worked its way up to the top level of European business schools and has positioned itself successfully in the competition for talented students from all over the world.

Prof. Dr. Hans Wiesmeth, Dean of HHL: "We are delighted that the ranking again confirms that we are one of the leading business schools in Germany. This outstanding position is acknowledgement that future managers receive an excellent education at HHL. As was the case almost 110 years ago, our goal today is to prepare responsible young professionals for the current management challenges of our century. However, the successful ranking result does not mean that we can sit back and relax: We want to prove that we are one of the best business schools in Europe."

The exclusive karriere ranking was published in cooperation with the recruiting service company Access. The survey was conducted by interviewing more than 50,000 students and alumni as well as HR representatives at 1000 large companies on topics such as study duration, faculty/student ratio and internationality of the programs.

HHL - Leipzig Graduate School of Management, founded in 1898 as the Handelshochschule Leipzig and reopened in 1992, is Germany's oldest business school. Today it is ranked among the leading business schools in Europe. HHL offers an 18-month Master of Science and a two-year Diploma Program in Management. The MBA (Master of Business Administration) programs offer professionals a 15-month full-time or two-year part-time course of studies. In cooperation with its subsidiary HHL Executive, HHL also provides company-specific executive education programs. The school is one of the few private universities in Germany entitled to confer a doctoral degree. HHL - Leipzig Graduate School of Management's position in the league of top business schools was confirmed in April 2004, when the school received the prestigious AACSB accreditation.
