In 2012, HHL celebrates its twentieth anniversary after being refounded in 1992.
To mark this occasion, a ceremony took place in the Großer Hörsaal at the HHL Campus Jahnallee on May 21, 2012. After a retrospective, Professor Pinkwart, dean of HHL, presented HHL's new strategy concept. Center stage at the celebration took the granting of Honorary Doctorates to Professor Philip Kotler and Dr. Michael Otto.
