The Festo Education Fund is provided by CareerConcept AG, the leader in the field of

short-term study.
Special characteristic of this Education Fund, besides the financial support, is the joboriented
qualification put into effect by both an exclusive network of technical-oriented
companies and professors and universities.
Consequently, The Fest Education Fund is a successful synthesis of various instruments to
efficiently promote your occupational qualification.
1. Funding your qualification in an attractive and riskless way
Our funding guarantees you a flexible financial scope, thus, safeguarding goal-oriented
studies without monetary limitations and time-consuming second jobs. The Festo Education
Fund covers living costs and tuition fees (amounting up to € 40,000 EURO) for students,
doctoral students, postdoctoral scientists and participants of part-time qualification courses in
engineering.
Repayment will depend on future income and only starts after graduation. Hence, you can
pursue your studies without the need to pay fixed monthly instalments or to start paying back
from a particular time. The sum to be paid back will be fixed to a maximum amount, thus
making this scholarship a more flexible one than the ordinary student loan.
2. Exclusive offers providing valuable occupational prospects for you
The Festo Education Fund offers a wide range of occupational qualification courses for its
participants. Making use of our cooperation with partners from a large network, you can
attend interesting events (e. g. excursions and discussions), thus, building your personal
network. Furthermore, you have the opportunity to get additional occupational qualification
free of charge by using our high-quality educational offers (e. g. presentations, project
management seminars, workshops on strategic product development).
3. Special prize for excellent graduates from courses of engineering
The Festo Education Fund in conjunction with Leipzig Graduate School of Management
(HHL) awards a special prize to each year’s top 10 % graduates of engineering programs of
selected universities. Prerequisite for a successful application is enrolment in the full-time
MBA Program of HHL, which is exclusively run in English. In order to appreciate the
outstanding qualifications of the applicant, HHL will waive 50 per cent of the tuition fees. The
remaining 50 per cent have to be covered by taking out a loan from the Festo Education
Fund.
The prize can be claimed within 5 years after the award ceremony. In case, the full-time MBA
course is no longer available, the prize can be transferred to any other comparable study
course at HHL. This prize is awarded to up to 10 prize winners every year.
