Eligibility: all students
A possibility for financing studies at HHL is provided by the company CareerConcept.
Students admitted into one of HHL's programs may apply for Bildungsfonds (Education Fund) for an amount of financing up to 30.000 Euro that would cover tuition fees and living costs.
CareerConcept is responsible for determining which of the HHL students are eligible to receive a Bildungsfonds funding. A candidate must apply online and convince CareerConcept of his/her potential for a financially successful post-HHL career.
The application process is omitted for M.Sc. students.
After graduation the student-borrower pays back a fixed percentage (typically 4-10%) of his/her income over a period of 48-96 months.
Because the fixed percentage and the payback period depend on the total amount borrowed and the borrower ‘s post-HHL earnings potential, CareerConcept has a preference for financing students with an EU, USA or Canada citizenship. Outstanding students from other nations may also apply for Bildungsfonds.
However, if after graduation from HHL the borrower begins his career in an economically developing nation, then his funding will be converted into a regular loan with a fixed interest rate.

- Unlike a loan you do not have to pay back a fixed amount of interest and redemption.
- Bildungsfonds considers your personal income situation and individually calculates your personal financing options.
- The payback does not begin until you have a job.
