Ph.D. Seminar in Winter/Spring Term 2010
The aim of this seminar is to familiarize Ph.D. students with the process of conducting independent research. Moreover, this event is intended to stimulate scientific exchange within people from and outside of HHL. Everybody of you is invited to listen to the presentations, to discuss with us, and also to present your research findings.

Computer Science 2010: “Service Science - New Perspectives for Computer Science”
Chair of Economics and information Systems together with Center for Leading Innovation & Cooperation are co-organizing together with four other Universities one of the largest computer science conferences in Germany: “Computer Science 2010”, which will take place in Leipzig from the 27th of September to the 2nd of October, 2010. The focus of the conference will be on Service Science, and specifically on how computer science can contribute to service industry research by the deployment of production technology and logistics. Emphasis also will be placed on the advantages and challenges that come along with the interdisciplinary orientation of service science. Prof. Kathrin Moeslein and Prof. Pierfrancesco La Mura are among the conference organizers.
