The Chair of Financial Management strives to combine theoretical foundation and application oriented elements in its teaching approach. Therefore, the fundamental theoretical models are taught and applied upon relevant problems from the field.
Research at the Finance Chair at HHL is conducted mainly by means of dissertation and specific research projects. In selected cases research is based on extraordinary master theses.
The Chair of Financial Management is offering services for the finance community to foster knowledge transfer between academics and practitioners. For this purpose the internet homepage is providing selected tools, links and edited data like current multiples, regressions, and volatilities for certain indices or industries.
One goal of the Chair of Financial Management is to support local entrepreneurs and start-ups by providing business and management know-how.
