We welcome you to the Schumpeter Junior Professorship in Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer. Founded in 2012, the Junior Professorship is sponsored by the Leipzig Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (www.leipziger-stiftung.de). The overriding goal of the professorship is to promote entrepreneurship in the region of Leipzig.
The philosophy of the professorship aims at three distinct goals:
Teaching: providing interactive lectures where the students are presented with the state of the art in the areas of entrepreneurship and innovation
Research: conducting and publishing research on topics that are relevant to industry
Transfer: being an enabler of entrepreneurship and technology transfer in the region
