We personally welcome you to the website of the Chair of Accounting and Auditing at HHL held by Professor Dr. Henning Zülch. We are proud that our faculty, students and business partners represent some of the very best in the fields of accounting and auditing in Germany. Our students receive a premier professional accounting education that exceeds the expectations of most recruiting companies.
We want to equip our students with profound and multidisciplinary knowledge in the field of accounting, especially international financial reporting (IFRS), combined with a sense for quality and professionalism, in order to prepare them for leading positions in their future career.
In order to incorporate our strategic objective we founded the Center for Financial Reporting & Consolidation (CFRC) and the Gesellschaft für kapitalmarktorientierte Rechnungslegung e. V. (GKR). Both aim at combining accounting and auditing practice with state-of-the-art science.
The Chair of Accounting and Auditing offers a variety of academic courses on the undergraduate and the graduate level. Our focus is not on rote memorization, but on critical thinking, on challenging the state of the art. We strive to expand our recognition with prestigious corporations and financial services firms around the world. With regard to research and education, we already closely collaborate with main companies in Germany.
