HHL and Technische Universität München offer joint program

The Technische Universität München (TUM) and HHL – Leipzig Graduate School of Management intend to offer a joint Executive Program in Innovation & Business Creation in the framework of their cooperation in the area of management research and executive education. The program, which is scheduled to start in fall 2007, is directed towards young entrepreneurs, managers and executives with academic qualifications and five years work experience.
The Executive Program in Innovation & Business Creation combines a part- time Executive MBA taught in English by the faculty of HHL - Leipzig Graduate School of Management and the TUM, with entrepreneurial innovation design and business creation projects facilitated by UnternehmerTUM, the center for entrepreneurship at TUM. Participants will acquire the skills and tools to create their own business while earning an EMBA degree.
The goals of the program are to qualify future business leaders and entrepreneurs, foster the design and testing of prototypes which lead to new products and services, and simultaneously to stimulate the creation of successful start-ups. Knowledge and competencies are acquired in interdisciplinary modules combining theoretical studies and teamwork in innovation projects. In Munich the EMBA students have the advantage of direct access to one of Europe’s most dynamic entrepreneurial networks.
The program thus combines the strengths of two top German universities – the HHL - Leipzig Graduate School of Management and the Technische Universität München – with the entrepreneurial competence of the UnternehmerTUM
