6x1: Top positions for HHL in annual survey “Absolventenbarometer 2005

December 20th, 2005 – HHL - Leipzig Graduate School of Management continues its leading role as one of the best business schools in Europe in the current survey ”Absolventenbarometer 2005”. trendence - an HR marketing company – published a study in which students were asked about the degree of satisfaction with their university.
In the survey HHL was ranked first in the following categories: delivery of content by professors and lecturers, assistance by lecturers, quality of library and IT-infrastructure, quality of placement and student services as well as examination and general services. The short duration of studies with about 8,2 semesters was noted as an outstanding characteristic for HHL. Furthermore trendence interviewed students about their expectations regarding working hours and starting salaries. The outcomes show that HHL’s graduates are willing to work up to 62 hours/week and aim to receive an average annual starting salary of 55,100 Euro.
The results of the survey are also reflected in different comments from HHL’ s graduates. These include “great teamwork of the students”, “the availability of the lecturers for conversations and criticism” as well as “strong community-feeling”. The survey was conducted at 57 business faculties and universities and involved about 6,200 students.
