Publishing your doctoral theses online

According to the >> Doctoral Regulations of HHL (as of December 03, 2009) doctoral students may also publish their thesis in electronic format. HHL - Leipzig Graduate School of Management provides the opportunity to publish a doctoral thesis online on the DINI-certified Open Access Server >> Qucosa (Quality Content of Saxony).

  • Your doctoral theses can be found in the catalog of the German National Library and other library catalogs and can be retrieved by Google Scholar and other search engines.
  • In addition to Qucosa you can also use other publication options (Qucosa does not claim the exclusive right of distribution).

Online publishing at HHL is easy

You provide the Student Affairs Office with

The HHL Library will

  • submit your doctoral thesis to Qucosa,
  • capture the bibliographic data (including your abstracts and keywords),
  • upload the document to the server,
  • inform you about the publication.

Please do not forget to hand in three print copies as well as prescribed in the doctoral regulations.
