In case an HHL-student wishes to attend a non-HHL partner university, it can be arranged. The student must then submit detailed course descriptions to HHL for academic approval prior to submitting the application abroad.

Within Europe or within the US, the host university of the student must be AACSB or EQUIS accredited. For non-accredited schools outside the US or Europe, HHL requires proof of academic excellence of the host institution. The school should be listed as a partner school with academic recognition by one of our partner institutions. If national rankings for business administration are available, this school should be listed in such a ranking.

If the HHL student goes to a non-HHL partner university, the student must pay the additional tuition fees as well as the tuition due to HHL.

HHL will give such students financial assistance to a maximum of  EUR 2,500. The precondition is that the student has a GMAT score of 650 or higher.
