top Financial Times: HHL Graduates Earning Top Salaries

According to the Financial Times (FT) ranking published today, the Master in Management Program (M.Sc.) of HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management is one of the two best programs of its kind in Germany and ranks among the top 10 in Europe. HHL achieved the 11th position in the worldwide ranking, leaving behind a large number of renowned national and international universities. The ranking attests to the M.Sc. Program at the first business school established in German-speaking Europe top results for career prospects. HHL graduates achieved second place in Europe for their salaries. Regarding questions about the extent to which the alumni were able to attain their study objectives, the Leipzig-based business school ranks second in the world. HHL' M.Sc. Program was ranked second in the world for its strategic management emphasis. Additionally, the Leipzig-based business school achieved fourth place for its marketing focus.  

The FT "Masters in Management" ranking, which rates 70 business schools, is considered to be one of the most comprehensive and significant internationally of its kind for Master programs with a focus on General Management. The ranking uses data from two surveys. One polls the university alumni who graduated three years ago about their current situation. Additional information, such as internationality and the structure of the school or program, are collected at the school itself.

Stefan Frisch, 28, took up a position as an in-house consultant for Deutsche Post DHL following the completion of his M.Sc. Program at HHL and now works at Deutsche Post AG in the field of E-POST. The graduate, who was born in Neuwied, says, "By studying at HHL, I broadened my business administration skills and wanted to do so at a renowned university with good counseling like I knew from term abroad in the U.S. Moreover, I attached particular importance to the access to attractive employers in the area of consulting as well as start-ups and major enterprises. In this context, HHL's Career Service convinced me with its worldwide network of alumni. I achieved the objectives I had set for myself thanks to the M.Sc. Program.

Andreas Hönl, 26, born in Zeitz, who took up a position with the consulting firm McKinsey following his studies in Leipzig, adds, "The M.Sc. The English-language Master in Management Program (M.Sc.) at HHL was ranked among the top of its kind in Germany according to the latest Financial Times Masters in Management Ranking. The program provides a basis for future management tasks and covers a wide variety of economic topics.
