By concentrating on proactive and preventative measures German ESF funding 2007-2013 is combating social exclusion and supporting the ‘upgrading’ of the workforce in order to meet demographic challenges. At national level, it concentrates on the adaptability of workers to support and sustain the growing economy.
Prerequisites for financial support
- The application for financial support must be submitted prior to the start of the academic program. The program must start after confirmation of acceptance for financial support.
- The program must be completed by December 31, 2014 (last possible graduation date).
- The applicant must be employed at the time of application for financial support. The monthly gross salary must not exceed EUR 4,150.
- An employment in public service will exclude the applicant from financial support.
- The applicant must have his/her principal residency in the Free State of Saxony.
The SAB funds 80% of HHL's tuition fee for employed persons with a maximum average gross salary of EUR 2,500.
The SAB reimburses 50% of HHL's tuition fee to employed persons with an average gross salary of EUR 2,501-4,150 on the condition that the applicant meets one of the following conditions:
- older than 50 years
- part-time employed
- has a temporary work contract
